This time, Jagan and his party had the support of the United States, which had seen millions of dollars in foreign aid squandered during People's National Congress rule.

Rawle,

I personally was not born in the British times but my mom was -  and I have never once in our conversation heard her mentioned anything about what is happening right now in Guyana as I write this note. I do not remember any great times I have had when, the PNC was in power.  I remember being robbed of all our belongings and what the police did, nothing, nil.  I think you should talk only for yourself and family and not for anyone else.

My question to you is:  what are your plans to make Guyana a better place?  You are the one that is pointing fingers but what have you done lately in terms of contributions in making Guyana for your children?  What is the statistics on the working people in Guyana?  The PNC had millions and millions of dollars to make Guyana what is was before he went into power, have you ever wonder, where all that monies went to?

I am not writing this because of my race but I think you should stop looking for faults through your window and start looking in the mirror.

Concerned.

Good for you Rawle. Oh by the way I was born In British Guyana and am proud of it. I proudly participated in activities that changed the name of my country to the Co-operative Republic of Guyana. Unfortunately the "co-operative" part was just window dressing.

We people did not mess up Guyana. Sorry sir, you and your people caused it to be in the situation it is in currently. We people are trying to bring it back to a glorious stage and your people are trying to prevent that because the industrious will once again triumph and the lazy bastards who eat, sleep and bathe once in a while when they come out of their drunken stupor, continues to steal for a living. There is the difference from the days of the Colonials when both indentured servants and slaves were freed. The ones who worked improved in life while the others who felt that the world owe them a living are where they are. That thinking has been passed down. Today, only one continent continue to rely on the world to feed it, clothe it, house it and sustain it even though its people are capable of greatness.

Easier said that done my foot. You all are still stuck in the past. Try telling me your suggestions for future economics and harmony without being caught up in BRITISH GUIANA. I was born a GUYANESE not BRITISH GUIANIAN, and you people have screwed up our nation long enough with your crap. We will be taking back our country NOW and create a future for our offsprings. You people had your chance, now it is ours. You all will die off in the near future and it will be sad to know that your only memories are those of sad times. Our children deserve a great nation and we should not become your age talking about crap like you all are doing now. It is time that all of you know all's put up or shut up, stop blaming and start solving. Did the US and other nations sat and dwell on the bad things which occurred between them and the British? No, they created new ways of governance and self rule, then made the British dependant on them. In our case, we may not make anyone dependant on us, but we could become a vital part of the global market as well as a regional economic powerhouse. Let us deal with economics and the race crisis will go away sooner or later. JUST STOP THE FINGER POINTING ON ALL SIDES.
